Hussein is a second lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces. He recently graduated from the prestigious Sandhurst British military academy.

...something he has in common with Prince William, whom he entertained in June 2018 during the British royal's five-day tour of the Middle East.
The visit coincided with the World Cup and, after a busy day of official engagements, the pair caught up on the England vs. Panama game back at the palace. It looked like a chilled affair, as they watched the football on a giant TV screen in what looked like some sort of snug.
Prior to his army career, Hussein graduated from Georgetown University in Washington DC with a degree in International History in 2016. He attended high school in Jordan.
He travels a lot to promote initiatives that he supports — here he is in New York in February.

In 2015 he became the youngest person ever to chair a meeting at the UN Security Council.
