The shooting suspect accused of killing four people, including a child, at a business in Orange, California, has been identified as Aminadab Gaxiola Gonzalez, a 44-year-old from Fullerton, California, authorities said at a press conference on Thursday.

Orange Police Department Lt. Jennifer Amat said that Gonzalez knew all of the victims on a personal or business level, and the motive was related to the business and personal relationships.

"This appears to be an isolated incident, and we believe everyone knew each other," she said during the press conference.

A 9-year-old boy, and man, and two women were killed in the shooting on Wednesday night, though their identities have not yet been made public. A fifth person was critically injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect was also transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound.

Amat said at Thursday's press conference that the shooting happened at a business called Unified Homes.

Police said the entries to the building had been shut with bike locks, blocking police from getting in during the shooting, and that investigators found a semi-automatic handgun, handcuffs, and ammunition at the scene.

In a Facebook post about the shooting on Wednesday night, the City of Orange Police Department said shots were fired when officers arrived on scene, and an "officer-involved shooting occurred."
