A woman has died and at least one other person has been injured after an alleged van attack in Marseille, France.
Officers believe the same vehicle hit two separate bus stops. The first was around 8.15 a.m. local time in a northern district of the city, and the second came around an hour later several miles south.
According to the La Provence newspaper, police arrested the driver of a white Renault Master after he hit two separate bus stops around the Mediterranean city, killing one person and injuring another.
Prosecutors, cited by the AFP news agency, have said they are not treating it as a terror attack.
The driver, a 35-year-old man, has been arrested, according to Reuters.
Forensics officers were photographed looking inside a white van near the centre of the police operation:
The BFMTV news channel reported that police caught the driver around Marseille's Old Port area after a witness to a previous attack took down the vehicle's number plate, which allowed them to trace him.

The incident came four days after 14 people were killed in linked terror attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils in Spain.
