Kevin Hart has suffered a “major back injury” and was taken to hospital after his vintage muscle car span off the road and rolled into a ditch in the Malibu Hills.
The actor and comedian was a passenger in the vehicle along with a woman named Rebecca Broxterman, who is reportedly his wife’s personal trainer, while a man named Jared Black was driving, a California Highway Patrol (CHP) collision report obtained by KNX1070 NewsRadio revealed.

The report states that Black lost control of Hart’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, which The Drive reports was customized with a Hellcat supercharged V-8 engine.
The incident occurred at 12.45 a.m. Sunday, and Black was found not to be under the influence of alcohol at the time, according to the report.
Crash scene footage obtained by TMZ, who first reported the accident, shows Hart's Barracuda nose down in a gully.
Two of the three occupants - one being Hart - were trapped inside the vehicle, and TMZ reports that the fire department was required to saw the roof off of the car in order to free them.

The report shows that Hart and Black were taken to nearby hospitals to be treated for their injuries, while Broxterman "suffered only complaint of pain."
Hart's representatives did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.
