• If you have the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card, Chase Freedom Unlimited, or another Chase credit card, you could be eligible for Chase Offers.
  • Chase Offers earn you cash back – usually in the form of a percentage of your purchase – at participating retailers when you make an eligible purchase.
  • Recent examples of Chase Offers include 10% back at Casper, 5% back at Airbnb, and 10% back at Starbucks.
  • You can find your Chase Offers by logging in to your Chase account.

Chase offers some of the most popular rewards credit cards. Cards like the Sapphire Preferred, the Chase Sapphire Reserve, and the Chase Freedom give you numerous ways to earn valuable points, miles, and cash back.

If you have a Chase credit card, you should be aware of the Chase Offers program. It can be a powerful tool for earning additional cash back on your purchases with retailers and restaurants like Casper and Olive Garden.

What is the Chase Offers program?

Chase Offers is a cash-back program for certain Chase credit and debit cards that offers you discounts at featured merchants. It’s similar to the Amex Offers program in that it offers discounts at various retailers, but unlike the Amex Offers program, you can only earn cash back through Chase Offers, not bonus points on purchases.

Also unlike the Amex Offers program, Chase offers isn't available to all Chase cardholders - if you have multiple Chase cards, you may find that one of your cards has several offers attached to it, while another has none.

Once you find a Chase Offer that you can utilize, you just click on it to add it to your card. Once it's added, there's nothing else that you need to do - just make the purchase at the retailer as you normally would.

When you make an eligible purchase, you'll automatically receive a statement credit on your account; there are no coupons or codes that you need to worry about. The purchase must be made before the offer expires, but it still counts even if the transaction posts after the offer ends. The rewards you earn from the Chase Offers program will be in addition to any rewards your credit card would normally qualify for.

For example, my Chase Freedom card is currently offering me 5% back on Airbnb purchases for the next 33 days. My Chase Sapphire Reserve has the same offer, as well as one for 15% back at Westin hotels for the next 28 days and 10% back at Best Western for the next 16 days.

Other offers that I've seen on my Chase cards include:

  • 10% back at Starbucks
  • 10% back at the Olive Garden
  • 10% back at Jimmy John's and Friday's restaurants
  • 10% back at Casper

The cash back you earn through Chase Offers is in addition to the rewards or cash back you get through spending on your Chase card. So if you have a Chase Offer for cash back at a restaurant on your Chase Sapphire Preferred card, you'd get 2 points per dollar on your purchase in addition to cash back through the offer.

Just note that the offers that you select for your Chase card are only eligible for that particular card. So if you find a great offer for your Chase Freedom card, then you have to make a purchase with that particular card in order to qualify, not your Sapphire Preferred or another Chase card.

Here's how to find your Chase Offers

You can find your Chase Offers in one of three ways:

  • Online at Chase.com
  • On Chase's mobile app
  • With the Chase Pay app

Just note that the Chase Pay app will be discontinued in early 2020.

If you're logged in to Chase.com:

  1. Log in to your Chase account at Chase.com
  2. Go to the scroll bar on the left side.
  3. Go to the bottom and find Chase Offers underneath your accounts list. Note that you might not see this option if you have business credit cards and you have "Chase for Business" on a banner at the top of the page.

If you use the Chase.com mobile app:

  1. Log in to the mobile app.
  2. Select your "Personal Accounts"
  3. Scroll down to see your individual credit cards and choose one.
  4. Scroll down past your payment information, recent transactions, rewards balance, and account services to find the section on Chase Offers.

You'll see a few offers there, but you'll likely have to click on "See all offers" below to find the rest of them. Clicking on an offer will automatically add it to your card while showing you all of its details, terms, and conditions. In the Chase Pay app:

  1. To find Chase Offers through the Chase Pay app, start by logging in to the app.
  2. You'll be able to find Chase Offers in your activity snapshot on the main page of the app. Or you can find your available offers in The Spotlight section.
  3. Click on the arrow to the right of Available offers to see a list of Chase Offers.

Bottom line

Chase Offers are a fantastic way to earn additional cash back in addition to the rewards that you ordinarily earn from your Chase cards. If you have a Chase card, it's worth getting familiar with the retailers that frequently pop up in your Chase Offers so you can save next time you make a purchase with them.
