Brides across the US have been left in limbo after a popular wedding brand abruptly closed its doors Thursday.
Alfred Angelo, a brand that sells bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses, shuttered many of its 60 stores across the US without giving customers prior warning.
On Sunday, it confirmed it had filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and will be closing all remaining stores.
The brand has been in business for over 80 years. Its special occasion dresses are also stocked in 1,400 retailers.
Irate brides took to social media to complain, and many are saying that they don’t know whether they will receive their dress or get a refund.
