Rihanna launched her second beauty brand, Fenty Skin, on Friday.

Days before the official launch, however, listings for Rihanna’s skin-care products began popping up on marketplace sites like eBay. As Highsnobiety previously reported, these sellers listed the brand’s toner, cleanser, and sunscreen for hundreds of dollars each, despite the fact that the items hadn’t yet been released.

Many of these product listings are still posted after the brand’s midnight launch. At the time of writing, Fenty Skin products on eBay are listed for prices between $99 and $550, though the brand’s range typically retails between $25 and $75.

Because Fenty Skin products first went on sale this week and have not yet shipped, eBay sellers are using phrases like "Confirmed Order" to explain that they don't yet own the products, but have placed orders for them.

On eBay's policies page, the company says it's "actively addressing reports that some sellers are charging unfair or unreasonable prices for certain items on eBay." However, it's unclear if the marketplace site has rules in place regarding the reselling of items, especially those that have not yet been received by the seller.

Representatives for eBay did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment regarding its policies and the expensive Fenty Skin listings.

At the time of writing, Fenty Skin's $28 Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, $35 Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer with 40 SPF Sunscreen, and a $30 moisturizer refill are all available on the brand's website. However, the $25 Total Cleans'r and $75 Fenty Skin Start'rs set are both sold out.
