Black Friday is set to kick off on November 27, 2020. As part of the massive sales event, Best Buy will offer many deals across various product categories, including smart home devices, laptops, and kitchen appliances.

Below, we’ve listed the best Black Friday deals from last year’s Best Buy Black Friday ad, and noted current discounts you can take advantage of right now. We’ll update this list with all of the best deals for Black Friday 2020 as soon as they’re announced.

Best Black Friday deals at Best Buy last year:

The speaker is currently on sale for $70 off, but there was an even bigger $150 discount available during Black Friday last year. A similar deal is possible in 2020.
  • Ultimate Ears Boom 2 LE Portable Bluetooth Speaker, $179.99 (originally $179.99) [Was $70 for Black Friday last year] Our reviewer called this speaker "one of the best purchases I've ever made." It's waterproof and durable enough to handle countless drops and jostles, and can connect to other UE Boom speakers for a surround-sound or multi-room experience. Though the speaker isn't currently on sale, it was just $70 for Black Friday last year. Another major deal is a possibility for this year's Black Friday sale in November.
  • Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Pro Totally Wireless Earphones, $249.99 (originally $249.99) [Was $199.99 for Black Friday last year] These headphones are a great purchase for fitness and exercise enthusiasts. Our reviewer called them "the best AirPods alternative." The earphones are full price right now via Best Buy, but the retailer did offer a $50 discount on Black Friday last year.
  • JBL Clip 3 Portable Bluetooth Speaker, $49.99 (originally $69.99) [You save $20] This is a great speaker for anyone who wants to bring music on the go. It's waterproof and portable, and durable enough to withstand bumps and drops. Best Buy is currently offering a $20 discount, but the speaker was just $29.99 during last year's Black Friday sale. A similar deal is possible for Black Friday 2020.

  • Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant, $49.99 (originally $79.99) [You save $30] This smart clock is currently available for $30 off its regular price. That's pretty close to the $40 discount Best Buy offered on Black Friday last year. The retailer also included free three-month subscriptions to both SiriusXM Premier and Pandora Premium with Black Friday purchases, so it's possible a similar promotion will be offered this year.
  • Google Home Mini, $39 (originally $39) [Was $20 for Black Friday last year] Now that Google's new Nest Mini has debuted, the previous-generation Google Home Mini has received a $10 price reduction. The Nest Mini is the best budget Google Assistant speaker on the market, and the Home Mini has most of the same features. Best Buy had the Home Mini on sale for just $20 during last year's Black Friday sale, so it's likely that the speaker will be discounted heavily again in November.
  • Amazon Echo Show 8, $129.99 (originally $129.99) [Was $79.99 for Black Friday last year] This is one of Amazon's newest Alexa speakers, and it's a great purchase for anyone looking for a smart display. You can use its 8-inch screen to watch videos, follow recipes, read song lyrics, and more. The display isn't currently on sale, but Best Buy had it for $50 off during Black Friday last year. It's likely that another discount will be offered this year.

  • Vizio 65-inch P-Series Quantum TV, $1,099.99 (originally $1,099.99) [Was $900 during Black Friday last year] Vizio's P-Series is one of our favorite affordable TVs. The display supports a wide range of HDR formats and a 120Hz panel that's great for gaming. Though still a great buy at its current price, this model is actually being phased out to make room for the new 2020 version. The newer model is expected to cost a bit more at launch, but Best Buy will likely offer a Black Friday deal in November.
  • Toshiba 43-inch Smart Fire TV Edition, $265.99 (originally $279.99) [You save $14] While it doesn't feature a 4K panel, this affordable 1080p TV includes integrated support for Amazon's Fire TV platform. The smart TV is on sale now for $265.99, but it was just $200 on Black Friday last year. If stock is still available in November, a similar deal is expected.
  • Hisense 65-inch H6500F Series, $399.99 (originally $499.99) [You save $100]. Hisense makes some of the best budget TVs on the market. This one delivers 4K resolution with Dolby Vision, supports the Android TV platform, and works with Google Assistant. The TV is on sale now for $100 off, but it was even cheaper, at just $299.99, during Black Friday last year. A new 2020 model is set for release later this year, so prices on this model will likely drop more over the coming months.
  • Samsung 65-inch Q70, $949.99 (originally $1,399.99) [You save $450] Beating last year's Black Friday deal price of $1,199.99, Samsung's Q70 QLED TV is on sale right now for an even better deal price of just $949.99. The current discount is likely in anticipation of Samsung's new 2020 TV models, which are set for release over the next few months. Though the new models will offer some improvements, the Q70 is still a great buy at its current price. For those who prefer to wait, however, Best Buy will probably offer a solid discount on the new 2020 Q70T model during this year's Black Friday sale.
  • Sony 65-inch A8G OLED 4K TV, $2,499.99 (originally $2,499.99) [Was $1,999.99 during Black Friday last year] Sony A8G OLED TV isn't currently on sale, but it was $800 off on Black Friday last year. The display has Android TV support, inky black levels, a wide color gamut, and Dolby Vision HDR. Sony has new 2020 models set for release over the next few months, so the A8G price will likely go down soon. A big Black Friday discount is also possible if stock is still available in November.
  • TCL 75-inch 75R615 Roku 4K TV, $1,299.99 (originally $1,299.99) [Was $1,199.99 during Black Friday last year] If you're looking for an extra-large screen, this 75-inch TCL 4K HDR TV is an incredible deal - even at its regular price. The TV was on sale for $1,199.99 on Black Friday last year. We expect an even bigger deal on Black Friday in 2020.
  • VIZIO 65-inch M-Series Quantum 4K TV, $669.99 (originally $749.99) [You save $80] Vizio's entry-level 65-inch Quantum TV is on sale right now for $80 off its regular price, making it a great option for anyone who wants to upgrade to a new wide-color 4K HDR set without spending $1,000 or more. The current deal price is very close to last year's Black Friday price of $649.99, though bigger discounts are possible over the next few months as Vizio starts to release its 2020 TV models.

Phones

  • During last year's Black Friday sale, Best Buy offered $400 off on a Google Pixel 4 or Google Pixel 4XL with qualified activation. A similar deal on Google's upcoming Pixel 5 is possible for Black Friday 2020.
  • An unlocked Google Pixel 4 is currently $50 off with activation, and an unlocked Google Pixel 4 XL is currently $250 off with activations. Both models were $200 off plus an extra $50 with qualified activation on Black Friday last year. The upcoming Pixel 5 will probably be available with similar discounts on Black Friday in 2020.
  • Best Buy is currently offering up to $250 off on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, or iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphones with an eligible trade-in and a qualified activation for Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint. An even bigger $500 discount with new line and eligible trade-in was offered during Black Friday last year. More discounts on the iPhone 11 are possible leading up to the expected release of the iPhone 12 in the fall. For those who want to wait, a similar Black Friday 2020 deal on new iPhone 12 models is also a possibility in November.

  • Samsung 9.6-inch Galaxy Tab E, $139.99 (originally $199.99) [You save $60] This tablet isn't the newest in the series, which might be why it's enjoying such a good discount. The sharp display and dual cameras will let you enjoy your videos, games, and video chats without a glitch. The Galaxy Tab E is currently available for a sale price of $139.99, but it was just $99.99 on Black Friday last year. We expect a similar discount on Black Friday in 2020.
  • Microsoft Surface Pro 7, $699 (originally $959) [You save $260] If you've been eyeing Microsoft's Surface Pro 7, the base model is now available for a sale price of $699. That's not quite as enticing as the $599 price Best Buy offered on Black Friday last year, but it's still a solid discount. The tablet sports a sharp display and a long-awaited USB-C port. If you buy it with Microsoft's Type Cover (or a third-party Bluetooth keyboard), it functions as a great laptop as well. A bigger deal is possible on Black Friday 2020 for those who want to wait.
  • HP 17.3-inch Laptop, $599.99 (originally $599.99) [Was $400 on Black Friday last year] HP's school- and work-friendly laptop gets the job done for everyday tasks. The device isn't on sale right now, but a holiday discount is possible in November. Best Buy had the laptop on sale for $100 off during last year's Black Friday.
  • Google Pixel Slate, $499.99 (originally $799) [You save $299.01] When the Pixel Slate debuted in 2018, many reviewers felt it wasn't good enough for its $599-$999 price tag. At a current sale price of $499.99, though, it's a more justifiable purchase. It has a nice display, a compact design, and a full desktop browser in Chrome OS. The tablet was an extra $50 off on Black Friday last year, however, so we expect an even better deal in November.
  • Apple MacBook Air 2019 (Intel Core i5, 8GB, 128GB) from Best Buy, $1,099 (originally $1,099) [Was $899 on Black Friday last year] Though it's not currently on sale, the 2019 MacBook Air remains one of the best laptops you can buy. The device was available for a deal price of $899 on Black Friday last year, so we expect a similar discount on this model or a potential new 2020 version.
  • 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro 2019 (Intel Core i5, 8GB, 128GB) from Best Buy, $1,049.99 (originally $1,299.99) [You save $250] If you want a MacBook Pro with more power than the Air, the 13-inch model is available right now for even less than its Black Friday deal price. The current discount is likely in anticipation of a new 2020 model which is expected to be released in the coming months.
  • 15.4-inch Apple MacBook Pro 2019 (Intel Core i7, 16GB, 256GB) from Best Buy, $2,199.99 (originally $2,399.99) [You save $200] The larger 15.4-inch MacBook is also on sale right now with a nice $200 discount. That's not quite as big as last year's $350 Black Friday discount, but it's still an attractive deal.

  • Xbox One S 1TB All-Digital Edition Console, $199.99 (originally $249.99) [You save $50] Black Friday isn't generally a great time to buy new consoles (such as the Switch Lite), but models that have been on the market for a few years, like the Xbox One S, often see great discounts. During last year's Black Friday sale, the Xbox One S was just $150, but we expect an even bigger discount on Black Friday 2020. For those who can't wait, you can snag the console right now for $199.99.

With a 20-megapixel resolution, 4K video capabilities, a responsive touchscreen, and many other advanced features, it's a good buy for photography enthusiasts. The bundle was on sale for $999.99 on Black Friday last year, so we expect an even better discount this November.
  • Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 Instant Camera, $89.99 (originally $109.99) [You save $20] The Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 is our favorite instant camera for its advanced shooting features, adjustable brightness, and attractive design. The camera is currently available for $20 off its regular price, but it was just $49.99 during Black Friday last year. A similar deal is possible on Black Friday this year.

The vacuum is on sale right now for $429.99, which is very close to the $400 deal price that Best Buy offered on Black Friday last year. A bigger discount is possible for this year's Black Friday sale.
  • iRobot Roomba 960, $449.99 (originally $499.99) [You save $50]This robot vacuum is stronger suction than most robovacs and learns your floorplan so it can clean more efficiently each go. It's so easy to set up that we had it running in just 10 minutes. You can buy the iRobot Roomba for $50 off its regular price right now at Best Buy. The device was $100 off during the retailer's Black Friday sale last year, however, so a better deal is likely in November for those who want to wait.
